Info: This Native tree is found in the wilds of Missouri only in a select few woods located in the south east corner of the state. However this tree has been planted and grows very well state wide. It is a great option for fast growing tree to create shade. It has wonderful summer blooms and a great golden yellow fall color. The wood is used for both furniture and traditional lumber. Native Americans used these tree trunks to make canoes.
